Stargazing
Clips taken from a 360-degree video of the arm of the Milkyway spinning in the sky while the moon rises. Custom soundtrack by Fudgiewhale, of course.
Sunset Cruise
Come take a ride in the country with Kimmi and me!
A Woman Fulfill’d
Yeah, I heard you ask for a clothesline, you don’t need to remind me every year!
At least she let me make a fun little movie about it.
Picasso’s Garden
Watering the Ant Farm gardens is made more difficult by holding a 360 camera in my teeth. It did make for some interesting video, though…
Welcome to my nostrils.
A Differentish Perspective
Taken at Longwood Gardens during the 2022 Bruce Munro light installation.
I stuffed it full with my own crappy music, like usual. Enjoy!
Anomaly
Exploring an anomalous structure in the middle of Pennsylvania farm land.
Soundtrack: “Loki Has Two Mommies” (excerpt), available in the store.
A Very Brady Valentine
A video Valentine for my sweet Kimmi, with a special guest star.
Fly-Through
There’s a statue at the airport that reflects the sky beautifully.
Soundtrack: “Girl in the Window”, available in the store.
While We Slept
You never know what kind of beautiful things are happening right above you as you sleep…
Soundtrack: includes “Interlude: Chorale”, available in the store. Also features an Otamatone intro and outro.
Extraction
Far from the Orient, on a mountaintop in the middle of a small Pennsylvania city, there exists a Chinese pagoda. Seems like as good a place as any to wait for rescue from this insane world. I’ll be sure to write once I get to my new planet.
Soundtrack: “Bouncy House”, available in the store.
Warehouse Surfing
All work and no play isn’t a thing at my company.
Soundtrack: an excerpt from “Asle Epon Thebe Ach”, available in the store..
Wind Power
Deep in the heart of Pennsylvania’s Amish farm country there exists a restaurant so legendary that a mere mention of its name causes locals to drool. It also has a cool spinny thing on top of the building.
Soundtrack: “Dialectic” (excerpt), available in the store.
The Fudgie Shuffle
I walk funny, there’s no denying it..
Soundtrack: an excerpt from “Adwoa”, available in the store..
Walking Around With Fudgiewhale
I went to the park to try out my new 360 camera, and decided to share the weirdness- but not before I added a soundtrack excerpted from one of my recent releases.
Soundtrack: “83 Sloppy Seconds”, from “83 Sloppy Seconds/Girl in the Window”, available in the store.
Hummingbird
Follow a hummingbird as it makes its way across our yard. It was recorded on a 360 camera, so the progress of the little guy could be tracked as he meandered to and fro.
Soundtrack: an excerpt from “Porch Swing”, from the album “Uttershite”, available in the store. Hear the full track in the video “Gulleidoscopic” (below).
Kimberlee
I made this song and video for my wife’s birthday. Featured prominently in the video are the Reading Pagoda and a new guitar that I named after my sweetie. I hope you can feel the love that went into the project!
Soundtrack: “Kimberlee”, from the album “Uttershite”, available in the store.
Koi
One of several videos I created showcasing dynamic paintings I made in virtual reality, using a tool called Tilt Brush. Koi is meant to be a small, quiet moment for viewers to enjoy while taking a break from their stressful day. Namaste.
Soundtrack: “Koi”, from the album “Uttershite”, available in the store.
Trehugerz
Another video made from a virtual reality project, Trehugerz illustrates a dystopian future of planetary deforestation via unimaginable means.
Soundtrack: “Interlude: Chamber”, from the album “Uttershite”, available in the store.
The Gestation of the tralfamadorian broodmare
Born in virtual reality and named in tribute to the curious antagonists in one of my favorite Vonnegut novels, “Gestation” is an almost purely abstract endeavor.
Gulleidoscopic
I spent a fair amount of time under a pack of swirling seagulls in a parking lot to capture the video for this project.
Soundtrack: “Porch Swing”, from the album “Uttershite”, available in the store.
Garden
This video, along with “Funhouse” (below), documents a project from the early 2000’s, when I created a massive three-dimensional digital environment in which to display my visual art projects. Every image and texture in the project came from my own photographs. This environment represents a tremendous amount of time and work, and although these two videos are low-res by today’s standards, I believe they perfectly capture the grandeur of these colorful spaces.
***Due to the low-res nature of this video, I recommend that you view it in its window, rather than making it full-screen.
Soundtrack: “Garden”, from the album “Uttershite”, available in the store.
Funhouse
“Funhouse” gives the viewer a tour of a brightly-colored, highly improbable play house where some of my earlier artistic endeavors are displayed. The environments in this video, and in the video “Garden” (above), represent a highly creative period of my life, and I feel greatly rewarded by the results, even more than a decade later.
***Due to the low-res nature of this video, I recommend that you view it in its window, rather than making it full-screen.
Soundtrack: “The Fountainhead", from the album “Uttershite”, available in the store.
